Pre-production of Mr. & Ms. Photogenic 2011

Even if it was a holiday yesterday, I was busy with so many things. Being the coordinator for the Mr. and Ms. Photogenic 2011, I needed to beat my deadline. Good thing we learned about the space for us to rehearse and meet at a cheap price at the Region XI Dept Ed, new building. Seeing teens try to learn and build their self - confidence gives me fulfillment, as I remember that once, there were people who believed in me when I was trying to discover myself. Anyhow, those who had experience in this type of activites get to share their skills and of course was given due attention by those who wanted to learn how to do the catwalk. This may not be a big production, but the whole point here is to give new faces a chance to be able to grace our photos and maybe in the future they would be models for some Photography workshop around the city that will encourage the community to grow. The rewards of teaching!

For the last two months the question "are you still teaching?" kept popping every now and then. Well, to officially inform you "I stopped teaching since June 2009." The major reason, my sleep is totally affected, my stress is adding up to my weight and my focus for the company is necessary due to the hiring of new staff. Nonetheless, I raised the bar higher for my students, I provided some jobs or projects for them to work with me. I am very happy that some of them have grown better on their craft. I am glad that they listened and was able to experience the real world with me, which makes it as a very fulfilling experience. Just last night, I received a text message from my co-worker at Adtech - Ryan. He was the video editor of our TV commercial. The message was an update for the Mindanao Film Festival 2010. MR. and MS. PHOTOGENIC 2011

The New Jersy Studio launched it's annual promotion - the Mr. and Ms. Photogenic 2011. This is open to all 16 to 21 years old, and a resident of the Philippines. The monthly grand final will also win blow-up photos if selected the Mr. and Ms. Photogenic semi-finalist. All monthly winners' photos will be exhibited at Abreeza Ayala Mall, as part of your exposure. For those who would like to have a modeling career, I tell you this is a good stepping stone for you.
